Las diferencias entre o\u00eddos derechos e izquierdos, as\u00ed como entre sexos contribuyen poco a esta elevada variabilidad. s\u00ed es importante la intensidad de estimulaci\u00f3n: a 70 la variabilidad es mucho m\u00e1s alta que a 75 db spl. Por el contrario, la variabilidad intrasujeto es muy baja y la variaci\u00f3n m\u00ednima significativa asciende en promedio a 4 db spl.  se demuestra una elevada correlaci\u00f3n cruzada entre audiometr\u00eda y dpgrama, lo cual demuestra que es posible la conversi\u00f3n de \u00e9ste en una audiometr\u00eda. se propone el modelo de audiometr\u00eda objetiva 6d-4a, que parte de un dpgrama de 6 frecuencias que predice una audiometr\u00eda de 4. La sensibilidad y especificidad diagn\u00f3sticas de este modelo son elevadas cuando de trata de catalogar los o\u00eddos en grado de sordera.  en conjunto, se ha obtenido unos valores de referencia, de normalidad estricta, de prepatolog\u00eda y de patolog\u00eda franca. Asimismo se ha sentado las bases de una audiometr\u00eda coclear objetiva basada en el dpgrama de 70 db. Como tal es \u00fatil y fiable en la gradaci\u00f3n de la sordera, en la detecci\u00f3n de anomal\u00edas pre-audiom\u00e9tricas y en el seguimiento objetivo de los cambios
