Estos \u00faltimos incluyen cacimetrias, analisis de laminas delgadas, estudios del contenido en foraminiferos, analisis cuantitativos de difractogramas de rayos s y la determinaci\u00f3n de la densidad de los sedimentos. Con estos datos se dise\u00f1a una cartografia sedimentaria de los depositos e\u00f3licos no consolidados, donde se deducen las variaciones espaciales y temporales en la din\u00e1mica.  la movilidad e\u00f3lica de los sedimentos se ha modelizado mediante la determinaci\u00f3n de la disponibilidad de sedimentos y la cuantificaci\u00f3n del transporte, mediante trampas de sedimentos,torre de anem\u00f3metros y modelos de transporte calibrados con datos de la zona. El resultado final es la determinaci\u00f3n del flujo e\u00f3lico sedimentario en los diferentes ambientes del istmo y hacia las playas a sotavento.  la tesis consta de 66 tablas, 90 figuras y 18
