La secuencia or-0, de edad valanginiense, esta caracterizada por la presencia de material terrigeno y no forma parte de la plataforma urgoniense propiamente dicha. La secuencia or-1 se caracteriza por facies depositadas en un medio de alta energia y se atribuye al barremiense superior. La secuencia or-2, de edad barremiense superior, est\u00e1 dominada por facies de plataforma interna con abundantes orbitol\u00ednidos y rudistas. Las secuencias or-3 y or-4 presentan como caracteristica fundamental la presencia de potentes series de calizas con carof\u00edceas en su base; la edad de la primera es barremiense superior, aunque el aptiense inferior no puede excluirse mientras la segunda es aptiense inferior. La secuencia or-4,al igual que la or-5 presenta calizas hemipel\u00e1gicas ricas en materia organica.
