Con este objetivo en mente, se han acoplado una formulaci\u00f3n superficial y otras volum\u00e9trica, ambas de tipo efie (electric field integral equation). Adem\u00e1s, en la formulaci\u00f3n superifical se ha incluido una condici\u00f3n de contorno aproximada, que permite estudiar estructuras compuestas de materiales con peque\u00f1as profundidad de penetraci\u00f3n. De esta manera, siempre que las condicones de aplicabilidad de la condici\u00f3n de contorno lo permitan, se podr\u00e1n aprovechar las ventajas de un modelo superifical. En cualquier caso, cuando la condici\u00f3n no se aaplicable, el material siempre podr\u00e1 ser tratado desde la perspectiva de la formulaci\u00f3n volum\u00e9trica. En nuestra formulaci\u00f3n, el campo impreso se ha considerado producido por una onda plana, en problemas de difracci\u00f3n y para problemas de radiaci\u00f3n o propagaci\u00f3n se ha utilizado el modelo de delta-gap de voltaje.  el sistema de ecuaciones se resuelve mediante el m\u00e9todo de los momentos, en su variante de m\u00e9todo de galerkin. La discretizaci\u00f3n de la geometr\u00eda se hace meidante tri\u00e1ngulos, en el caso superficial, y mediante tetraedos, en el volum\u00e9trico. La densidad superficial de corriente el\u00e9crica se aproxima mediante las conocidas funciones base de rao y la densidad volum\u00e9trica de corriente de polarizaci\u00f3n meidante una generalizaci\u00f3n de esas mismas funciones base. Se ha intentado reducir al m\u00e1ximo el n\u00famero de inc\u00f3gnitas presentes en el problemas, provenientes en su mayor\u00eda de la formulaci\u00f3n volum\u00e9trica.
