Por tanto, objetivo global de este trabajo es estudiar los efectos de la exposici\u00f3n al cadmio sobre los ritmos ultradianos y circadianos de los sistemas neuroendocrinol\u00f3gico e immunol\u00f3gico en rata macho. En concreto se estudi\u00f3 el efecto del cadmio sobre los niveles plasm\u00e1ticos de lh, prolactina y testosterona y los ritmos ultradianos las dos primeras hormonas en rata macho durante la edad adulta y la pubertad, as\u00ed como el efecto que ejerc\u00eda el metal tanto sobre sus neuromodualres (ne ymetabolismo de da y 5ht) en regiones concretas del hipot\u00e1lamo como, sobre la acumualci\u00f3n del metal en los tejidos del eje estudiado.
