En esta memoria se describe el aislamiento de un clon de cdna completo de pag de c\u00e9lulas de c\u00e1ncer de mama humano zr-75,mediante una combinaci\u00f3n de rastreo de una genoteca en el vector lamda-gt10 y la t\u00e9cnica de race(ampliaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida de los extremos de un cdna). El cdna de la pag humana tiene 2408 nucle\u00f3tidos, con un marco abierto de lectura de 1806 nucle\u00f3tidos que codifican una prote\u00edna de 602 amino\u00e1cidos con una masa molecular te\u00f3rica de 66309 da. La secuencia deducida de amino\u00e1cidos contiene una putativa presecuencia de importe a lamitocondria compuesta por los primeros 14 residuos en el extremo amino terminal. La expresi\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna recombinante en bacterias produjo un producto del tama\u00f1o esperado, que fue reconocido por anticuerpos anti-pag. El an\u00e1lisis de la secuencia mostr\u00f3 que la pag humana es muy similar a la isoenzima l de rata. an\u00e1lisis por hibridaci\u00f3n northern revel\u00f3 que este gen se encuentr\u00f3 un \u00fanico tr\u00e1nscrito de 2.4 kb. No se encontr\u00f3 se\u00f1al de hibridaci\u00f3n en ri\u00f1\u00f3n, coraz\u00f3n, m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9tico,pulm\u00f3n y placenta.
