Fredii hh103 se ha determiando mediante la utilizaci\u00f3n de las t\u00e9cnicas avanzadas de determinaci\u00f3n estructural; electroforesis en geles de poliacrilamida, cromatograf\u00eda de gases\/espectrometr\u00eda de masas, an\u00e1lisis por metilaci\u00f3n, malditof, fab-em, ie-em, de alta resoluci\u00f3n y resonancia magn\u00e9tica nuclear. La estructura propuesta es la de un homopol\u00edmero del \u00e1cido 5-acetamido-3,5,7, 9-tetradesoci-7-(3-hidroxibutanamido)-l-glicero-l-mano-non-2-ulos\u00f3nico, en el que el enlace entre las distintas unidades se lleva a cabo a trav\u00e9s del hidroxilo de la cadena lateral de 3-hidroxibutanamido.  popsteriormente se ha realizado el estudio de modelizaci\u00f3n molecular en disoluci\u00f3n del monosac\u00e1rido de repetici\u00f3n y del polisac\u00e1rido capsular de s. Freddi hh103.  la estructura del polisac\u00e1rido capsular de s. Fredii svq293 se ha determiando mediante el uso de las siguientes t\u00e9cnicas:cromatograf\u00eda gas-l\u00edquido\/espectrometr\u00eda de masas, an\u00e1lisis por metilaci\u00f3n, fab y resonancia magn\u00e9tica nuclear. la estructura propuesta para el polisac\u00e1rido capsular es la de un polisac\u00e1rido lineal fomrado por el siguiente trisac\u00e1rido de repetici\u00f3n:  como en el caso del polisac\u00e1rido capsular de la estirpe nativa, se ha llevado a cabo el estudio de modelizaci\u00f3n molecular en disoluci\u00f3n del trisac\u00e1rido de repetici\u00f3n anterior.  la estirpe hh103, junto con la estirpe hh303, son las \u00fanicas estirpes descritas hasta ahora que no producen un polisac\u00e1rido capsular con la unidad estructural general que se ha propuesto para los polisac\u00e1ridos capsulares de s.Fredii y s,. Meliloti.
