Es necesario, por tanto, disponer de un metodo de evaluacion del stado fetal que sea sensible estadios mas precoces, capaz de detectar a los fetos con rciu a tiempo de evitar secuelas definitivas. Las modificaciones hemodin\u00e1micas de la circulaci\u00f3n venosa fetal parecen preceder a estas alteraciones biofisicas, pudiendo ser de utilidad en la valoracion del momento \u00f3ptimo en que debe finalizarse la gestacion. Presentamos los resultados de un estudio transversal descriptivo incluyendo 342 gestaciones de curso normal y 58 rciu a las que se les ha realizado al territorio vascular fetal arterial y venoso. Se han seguido longitudinalmente de forma prospectiva 36 gestaciones con rciu. Se describen los valores de normalidad para los diferentes parameros hemodinamicos arteriales y venosos asi como las diferencias que presentan los fetos mas severas a mayor gravedad en el rciu. Los fetos con rciu y alteraciones fluxometricas venosas presentan peores resultados perinatales. El seguimiento longitudinal muestra que existe  una cronolog\u00eda en las modificaciones hemodinamicas y biofisicas, de manera que las alteraciones venosas preceden en el tiempo a las alteraciones de
