Se plantean las ecuaciones de interes del problema con especial atencion al significado fisico de las magnitudes relevantes. Se introducen ideas acerca del gradiente de velocidad, sus invariantes y las variables asociadas a este tensor. Se estudia la topolog\u00eda resultante de las diversas configuraciones posibles de autovalores. Tambien se analiza el papel que juega en la dinamica de superficies isoescalares el gradiente de un escalar.  las ecuaciones para la evolucion de las componentes del tensor gradiente de velocidad se cierran en el espacio de fases probabilistico asociado mediante modelizacion de los terminos de presion y difusion. A partir de distribuciones iniciales gaussianas se hace evolucionar una representacion discreta de la fdp para obtener las distribuciones estadisticas finales generadas por el modelo mediante modelizacion montecarlo. La estadistica resultante es altamente coincidente con los resultados de simulacion numerica directa.  por otra parte se aborda el estudio de diversos modelos unidimensionales que producen comportamiento intermitente similar al de gradientes de velocidad. Se estudia ademas evolucion conjunta del gradiente de velocidad y el gradiente de un escalar.
