En general, lo ligandos m\u00e1s utilizados en las difosfinas con simetr\u00eda c2. En la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, se ha estudiado la utilizaci\u00f3n de ligandos quirales derivados de az\u00facares en diferentes tipos de reacciones catal\u00edticas.  las principales ventajas de este tipo de ligandos son, principalmente, la facilidad de s\u00edntesis yla elevada diponibilidad de los productos de partida.  teniendo en cuenta estos hechos, las aportaciones de esta tesis doctoral son:  * la s\u00edntesis de nuevos ligandos azufre (ditiolatos, ditio\u00e9teres), f\u00f3sforo (difosfina, difosfito y fosfina-fosfito) dadores y mixtos (tio\u00e9ter-alcohol y tio\u00e9ter-fosfito) derivados de carbohidratos.  * la s\u00edntesis y caracterizaci\u00f3n de nuevos precursores catal\u00edticos de rh, ir.  * el uso de estos precursores en las reacciones de hidroformilaci\u00f3n (ee-60%) y de hidrogenaci\u00f3n (ee&gt;99%) de olefinas porquirales. Algunos ligandos preparados tambi\u00e9n se han utilizado en la reacci\u00f3n de adici\u00f3n 1,4 de organo cupratos a enonas proquirales (ee-62%).  * la caracterizaci\u00f3n de los intermedios de
