Nuestra hip\u00f3tesis es que fibroblastos d\u00e9rmicos alog\u00e9nicos(ffddaa), introducidos en defectos practicados en el tendon rotuliano (tr) del conejo, mejoraran las propiedades biomec\u00e1nicas del regenardo.  material y metodo: se utilizaron 90 conejos albinos de raza new zealand, esqueleticamente maduros, distribuidos en tres grupos. Se siguieron las normas \u00e9ticas recomendadas en el \u00e1mbito cient\u00edfico para la experimentaci\u00f3n con animales de laboratorio . El experimento consisti\u00f3 en crear defectos quir\u00fargicos longitudinales en el tercio central del tr(=20x 4 mm), repar\u00e1ndolos aleatorimente mediante sutura simple del paratenon(grupo a), o bien a\u00f1adi\u00e9ndo al defecto 0,10 ml de gel de col\u00e1geno (grupo b), o 30&#215;10 6 ffddaa\/ml(grupo c). Los ffddaa se obtuvieron a partir de explantes de piel abdominal de un conejo de otro proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n. La soluci\u00f3n de col\u00e1geno tipo i (pancogene s r) se incub\u00f3 hasta obtener un gel. Los animales se sacrificaron a los 3 meses de la cirugia, determinandose: la resistencia a rotura, rigidez y modulo de young de los generados tendinosos, mediante ensayos de tracci\u00f3n con maquinaria instron r. Se realiz\u00f3 tambien un estudio histol\u00f3gico descriptivo de las zonas regeneradas en cinco probetas de cada grupo.  resultados: la fuerza m\u00e1xima a rotura del grupo c result\u00f3 ser el 80% de la del tejido normal, significativamente superior a los otros dos procedimientos empleados. La calidad tensil de los tendones de esta serie se confirma por los valores de rigidez, practicamente igual a la serie patr\u00f3n, y modulo de elasticidad, de magnitud ligeramente superior a la misma. Los resultados sugieren que los ffddaa consiguen parecido resultado a otros fenotipos celulares utilizados con anterioridad.
