La cftc mediante laser diodo se practico en un ojo de cada conejo, realizando 15 aplicaciones laser en 270 grados a 0,5 mm del limbo esclerocorneal usando 0,9 j, 1,8 j y 2,7 j (subgrupo control o ctr a, b, c). Se estudio tanto la evolucion clinica, como la histologica de los diferentes subgrupos.  a las 24 horas, los tres subgrupos tratados presentaban una reduccion estadisticamente significativa de la pio en relacion a sus respectivos controles, reduccion que continuo significativa hasta el dia 38 en los subgrupos tratados a y c; mientras en el subgrupo tto b se mantenian hasta el final del estudio (dia 80). Las complicaciones detectadas fueron mas mas frecuentes y graves a mayor nivel energetico aplicado. El estudio histologico revelo una necrosis coagulativa de la escler y del cuerpo ciliar, que evoluciono a una area cicatricial estable.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
