En el caso de los recubrimientos v\u00edtreos, combinando las t\u00e9cnicas de luminiscencia y absorci\u00f3n \u00f3ptica se puede determinar el estado de oxidaci\u00f3n de los iones met\u00e1licos dentro de la matriz de s\u00edlice. as\u00ed hemos comprobado que la atm\u00f3sfera de densificaci\u00f3n del recubrimiento determina el estado final de estos iones. Las muestras zta presentan una luminiscencia formada por dos componentes. Una de las contribuciones proviene de la fase de circona del material. El origen de la emisi\u00f3n se adscribe a la presencia de un defecto complejo caracter\u00edstico de la circona asociado a la fase monocl\u00ednica de la circona. La otra contribuci\u00f3n consiste en dos picos de emisi\u00f3n en la zona roja del espectro muy pr\u00f3ximos entre s\u00ed. Estos picos se deben a transiciones electr\u00f3nicas del i\u00f3n cr+3 que siempre se encuentra presente en la al\u00famina al menos en forma de traza. Las caracter\u00edsticas de estas emisiones (intensidad y curva de ca\u00edda temporal fundamentalmente) son sensibles al da\u00f1o mec\u00e1nico por lo que podr\u00edan utilizarse como un buen m\u00e9todo de diagn\u00f3stico para el an\u00e1lisis de este tipo de materiales mediante una t\u00e9cnica no destructiva.#<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
