En los complejos con cobalto (ii) aparecen fenomenos de relajacion magnetica y la presencia de peque\u00f1as particulas de coo, comprobandose la influencia del agua en la obtencion de los oxidos. Se obtienen complejos sin peque\u00f1as particulas controlando el agua, o pueden obtenerse tambien complejos con un exceso de sal metalica atrapada en el material.  tras comprobar el caracter general del proceso de formacion de las peque\u00f1as particulas, se decidio comprobar su efecto en un polimero comercial, la poli-(j-vinilpiridina).  se sintetizaron complejos con cobalto e hierro, obteniendose particulas y fenomenos superparamagneticos con ambos metales. La caracterizacion resulto dificultosa debido a la poca resistencia que presenta la matriz frente a los electrones. La caracterizacion estructural es por ello menos completa de lo deseado.  en los complejos con cobalto aparece una debil relajacion superparamagnetica pero aparecen pocas particulas.
