Fernanda <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se estudiaron retrospectivamente todos los casos de tumores estromales gastrointestinales obtenidos de los archivos de microscop\u00eda electr\u00f3nica del hospital \u00ab12 de octubre\u00bb de Madrid entre los a\u00f1os 1979 y enero de 1998. En cada caso (un total de 53) se tuvieron en cuenta datos cl\u00ednicos: edad, sexo, localizaci\u00f3n tumoral, sintomatolog\u00eda, met\u00e1stasis y recidivas, tratamiento y evoluci\u00f3n; datos histopatol\u00f3gicos: tama\u00f1o tumoral, celularidad, mitosis, necrosis, tipo celular predominante, atipias, infiltraci\u00f3n de tejidos adyacentes o mucosa; datos ultraestructurales: diferenciaci\u00f3n ultraestructural, organelas citoplasm\u00e1ticas, mitocondrias, ves\u00edculas de pinocitosis, filamentos finos, l\u00e1mina externa, prolongaciones dendr\u00edticas y matriz extracelular; datos inmunohistoqu\u00edmicos: marcadores epiteliales, mesenquimales, de m\u00fasculo liso, neuroendocrinos, de vaina neural, cd34 y factor de proliferaci\u00f3n ki67.
