La recepci\u00f3n del cinema -especialmente el llamado \u00abde vanguardia\u00bb- se contemplar\u00e1 desde una triple faceta: cr\u00edtica, p\u00fablica y art\u00edstica. Es el \u00e1nimo de la presente investigaci\u00f3n el comprobar c\u00f3mo el artista visual absorbe e incorpora el cine en su proceso creativo. Tambi\u00e9n tiene la pretensi\u00f3n de responder a la siguiente pregunta: cu\u00e1l es la raz\u00f3n \u00faltima por la que el artista se acerca a los recursos ofrecidos por el cine?. aunque aqu\u00ed se hable, en definitiva, del cine en los pintores, no hay una intenci\u00f3n expresa de sistematizar sus influencias formales o t\u00e9cnicas. La casi totalidad de los esfuerzos se concentrar\u00e1, por tanto, en el impacto del cinema sobre los artistas, dejando a un lado, siempre y cuando no se trate de un relato de mutuo intercambio, los trasuntos de la imagen f\u00edlmica a la pl\u00e1stica, es decir, el cine en la pintura.
