Un aporte de esta tesis es un teorema que garantiza la convergencia y el orden de magnitud de la velocidad de aproximaci\u00f3n del algoritmo empleado.  los m\u00e9todos de las redes de ond\u00edculas, permiten identificar sistemas multivariables usando redes neuronales artificiales de (1+1\/2)-capa, donde las funciones de activaci\u00f3n son ond\u00edculas (\u00abwavelets\u00bb) ortogonales, para el caso piramidal, y radiales, para el caso neuronal. La red piramidal se basa en el an\u00e1lisis multiresoluci\u00f3n, y emplea filtros de reconstrucci\u00f3n perfecta para el an\u00e1lisis y la s\u00edntesis de los modelos.
