Por un lado se ha desarrollado la teoria estructural, que es un formalismo matematico general en el que tienen cabida metodolog\u00edas conceptualmente diferentes, procedentes de la contabilidad y de la optimizacion termoeconomicas. Esto ha permitido unificar conceptos que antes aparecian como contrapuestos y que no eran comparables entre si. De este modo se ha establecido un marco de referencia para comparar los resultados de diferentes teorias.  .
