Sin embargo, el impacto que los procedimientos de leucodepleci\u00f3n (ld) por filtraci\u00f3n tienen en la calidad global de las plaquetas, as\u00ed como, el mejor momento para su realizaci\u00f3n, antes o despu\u00e9s del almacenamiento, no ha sido suficientemente evaluada. Por tanto, el objetivo general de este trabajo ha sido \u00abevaluar la calidad de los cps desleucocitados mediante filtraci\u00f3n en diferentes momentos de su preparaci\u00f3n y almacenamiento\u00bb. Para ello, nos planteamos los siguientes objetivos espec\u00edficos: 1o) evaluar la calidad global de los cps leucorreducidos durante su preparaci\u00f3n mediante un nuevo filtro \u00abin-line\u00bb, y 2o) evaluar las posibles diferencias derivadas del momento de la ld por filtraci\u00f3n de mezclas o \u00abpooles\u00bb de cps, prealmacenamiento (d\u00eda 1) vs. postalmacenamiento (d\u00eda 5), en relaci\u00f3n con la calidad de los \u00abpooles\u00bb resultantes. Para desarrollar nuestro primer objetivo, veinte unidades de sangre total se distribuyeron aleatoriamente para su fraccionamiento, est\u00e1ndar o mediante ld \u00abin-line\u00bb del plasma rico en plaquetas (prp) a trav\u00e9s del filtro ats pl-pall. En nuestro segundo estudio, \u00abpooles\u00bb de cps fueron leucorreducidos antes o despu\u00e9s de 5 d\u00edas de almacenamiento, usando para ello un filtro pxl-8 (pall). En ambos estudios, a lo largo del almacenamiento, se tomaron muestras para evaluar la eficacia de la ld en t\u00e9rminos de desleucocitaci\u00f3n y recuperaci\u00f3n plaquetaria postfiltraci\u00f3n, metabolismo plaquetar, expresi\u00f3n de glicoproteinas plaquetarias (cd62, cd 63, ib y iib\/iiia), contenido de citocinas y anafilotoxinas, as\u00ed como, marcadores de coagulaci\u00f3n y generaci\u00f3n de trombina. De acuerdo a los objetivos planteados y a los resultados obtenidos, podemos concluir que: 1o) la filtraci\u00f3n \u00abin-line\u00bb del prp mediante el filtro ats-pl es un
