El elemento clave en este proceso es la figura del mediador intercultural, que actuar\u00e1 de canal y de puente entre las demandas y necesidades del colectivo inmigrante y las ofertas y servicios municipales a su alcance. Las \u00e1reas de intervenci\u00f3n municipal m\u00e1s relevantes son:  educacin  servicios sociales  sanidad  empleo  participacin  empadronamiento  todo ello, a trav\u00e9s de la implementaci\u00f3n de los planes municipales integrales con car\u00e1cter transversal, que impliquen la participaci\u00f3n activa en su dise\u00f1o del poder pol\u00edtico local, t\u00e9cnicos y expertos del \u00e1rea
