Se han seleccionado representantes de las siguientes familias: giraffide, rhinocerotidae, gomphoteridae, equidae y felidae. todos tienen una continuidad en el tiempo y est\u00e1n ampliamente representados:  los esmaltes, dentinos y met\u00e1podos, son los elementos anat\u00f3micos que han sido analizados. Los tres tipos de tejidos difieren enormemente en sus propiedades f\u00edsicas, el met\u00e1podo es altamente poroso y permeable; el esmalte, en contraste, no tiene poros y es esencialmente impermeable, y por \u00faltimo la dentina que es intermedia, m\u00e1s parecida al hueso.  con las muestras se han realizado dos tipos de an\u00e1lisis, uno muneral\u00f3gico y otro geoqu\u00edmico. El primero se ha realizado mediante difracci\u00f3n de rayos x y el segundo con fluorescencia de rayos x y absorci\u00f3n at\u00f3mica, para determinar los elementos mayoritarios, minoritarios y traza. Los resultados de estos an\u00e1lisis se han comparado con los realizados tambi\u00e9n a huesos y dientes de animales actuales.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
