La primera de estas dos familias constituye uno de los ejemplos m\u00e1s relevantes de poli(beta-p\u00e9ptido)s capaces de formar h\u00e9lices, mientras que la segunda se caracteriza por presentar usualmente estructuras laminares. El modelado de estos sistemas se ha llevado a cabo aplicando t\u00e9cnicas de simulaci\u00f3n tradicionales y estrategias desarrolladas expl\u00edcitamente en este trabajo. Por otro lado, se ha hecho un especial \u00e9nfasis en complementar los resultados te\u00f3ricos con los datos experimentales disponibles.  los resultados obtenidos para los poli(beta-l-aspartato)s han permitido completar el conocimiento acerca de las preferencias conformacionales y estructurales de estos sistemas en funci\u00f3n del tipo de cadena lateral. En particular, destaca la caracterizaci\u00f3n de la estructura de varios miembros de esta familia con propiedades de cristal l\u00edquido. Asimismo, se han analizado los cambios conformacionales que tienen lugar en distintas transiciones de estos pol\u00edmeros.  el trabajo realizado sobre diferentes nylons ha puesto de manifiesto que con frecuencia estos pol\u00edmeros adoptan estructuras mixtas compuestas por diversos modelos de empaquetamiento. de hecho, los resultados indican que diversos nylons presentan una estructura diferente de la propuesta hasta el momento. Por otro lado, tambi\u00e9n se han establecido las semejanzas estructuras entre nylons con una constituci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica relacionada, as\u00ed como la posibilidad de la existencia de
