Mercedes Del <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El presente trabajo se realiza con el objetivo fundamental de estudiar la consolidaci\u00f3n de herramientas diamantadas, producidas mediante pulvimetal\u00fargia, para el corte de rocas ornamentales.  debido a que en dichas herramientas, el diamante se incluye en forma de cristales dispersos, se requiere de una fase met\u00e1lica que act\u00faa como ligante, proveyendo as\u00ed su sujeci\u00f3n durante el corte. En este estudio se realiz\u00f3 un an\u00e1lisis exhaustivo de la sinterabilidad de diversas aleaciones de cobalto, as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n de aleaciones fe-cu-co.  para los polvos de cobalto se caracteriz\u00f3 la influencia de diversos tama\u00f1os de part\u00edcula sobre la densidad final, microestructura y dureza de las aleaciones sinterizadas. Se estudi\u00f3 asimismo la transformaci\u00f3n alotr\u00f3pica del cobalto y la interacci\u00f3n del diamante con la fase met\u00e1lica en funci\u00f3n de la temperatura de sinterizaci\u00f3n y la atm\u00f3sfera utilizada. en este mismo sentido se estudiaron las aleaciones de fe-cu-co pero sin tomar en cuenta variaciones del tama\u00f1o de part\u00edcula de dichos polvos.
