Se descarto la presencia de actividad comt en este tejido. Se realizo un estudio de la modulacion de la actividad mao de retina por alcaloides isoquinolinicos y carbolinicos. Se determino las concentraciones endogenas de la dopamina y metabolitos relacionados mediante tecnicas de hplc. Se hizo un estudio de la presencia del enzima alcohol deshidrogenasa, asi como de la aldehido deshidrogenasa en retina bovina. Se describe la formacion dosis-dependiente de salsolinol tanto en las incubaciones realizadas en presencia de etanol, como de acetaldehido.
