Sin embargo, la funci\u00f3n de estos receptores en la gl\u00eda es poco conocida. Asimismo, se ha puesto de manifiesto que los receptores para los neurop\u00e9ptidos pueden jugar un papel importante en la tumorig\u00e9nesis. en el presente trabajo, hemos estudiado la presencia in situ de los receptores at1 y at2 de la angiotensina, en celulas gliales del cerebro adulto. Tambi\u00e9n, se ha estudiado la expresi\u00f3n de estos receptores, tanto a nivel de mrna como de prote\u00edna, en celulas gliales normales y tumorales in vitro. Hemos observado que las celulas gliales tanto in vitro como in situ expresan ambos subtipos de receptores. Adem\u00e1s describimos un nuevo receptor para la angiotensinal(1-7) que induce la mitogenesis de c\u00e9lulas astrogliales normales perinatales y tumorales. Con estos resultados, demostramos que las c\u00e9lulas gliales expresan varios subtipos de receptores para angiotensinas, y como consecuencia, estan capacitadas para participar en sistemas angiotensinas, y como consecuencia, est\u00e1n capacitadas para participar en sistemas angiotensinergicos en el cerebro. Adem\u00e1s, los resultados indican que el receptor de la angiotensinergicos en el cerebro. Adem\u00e1s, los resultados indican que el receptor de la angiotensina(1-7) puede estar implicado en la formaci\u00f3n de la poblaci\u00f3n glian durante el desarrollo del cerebro.
