En el adipocito diferenciado rarb y rxry se inducen por all-trans retinoico sugiriendo que podrian adquirir un papel de amplificacion de la respuesta del gen ucp-1 al acido retinoico. En el periodo fetal, anteriormente a la inducci\u00f3n del gen ucp-1, ya se detecta expresi\u00f3n de los receptores rara, rarb y rxra, considerados los m\u00e1s eficientes en la respuesta del promotor del gen ucp-1 por \u00e1cido retinoico. Asi, se sugiere que el acido retinoico podria participar en la diferenciaci\u00f3n fetal adipocitaria.  2. Estudio de los cambios de expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica durante el desarrollo: mientras que en el m\u00fasculo esquel\u00e9tico y en tejido adiposo marr\u00f3n ucp-2 ya se detecta en el periodo fetal, ucp-3 se induce despues del nacimiento. En musculo, la inducci\u00f3n postnatal de ucp-3 depende del inicio de la lactancia, concretamente de la ingesta de lipidos. La expresi\u00f3n de ucp-3 viene modulada en funci\u00f3n de la disponibilidad de acidos grasos libres circulantes, sea cual sea su origen: absorci\u00f3n intestinal (diferentes dietas) o lipolisis en
