Concretamente, se ha tratado la sincronizaci\u00f3n ca\u00f3tica en dos situaciones diferentes. Por una parte, se han considerado las inestabilidades desincronizantes que aparecen en sistemas discretos a partir de un tama\u00f1o cr\u00edtco del sistema. Este estudio ha puesto de manifiesto la aparici\u00f3n de nuevos comportamientos, como los denominados ondas peri\u00f3dicas rotantes y ondas ca\u00f3ticas rotantes. Estas \u00faltimas estructuras han sido caracterizadas en detalle utilizando un an\u00e1lisis de fourier discreto. As\u00ed mismo, el estudio ha sido implementado num\u00e9ricamente y se ha extendido al caso de ciertas estructuradas bidimensionales. Por otra parte, se ha estudiado el efecto del ruido sobre la sincronizacion de sistemas ca\u00f3ticos id\u00e9nticos desacoplados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
