Los mecanismos que controlan la funci\u00f3n met\u00e1stasica, son en gran parte, desconocidos; aunque estudios realizados en la \u00faltima decada han contribuido a esclarecer el papel de ciertos mediadores celulares y moleculares en dichos mecanismos. un posible planteamiento con respecto a la regulaci\u00f3n positiva del comportamiento metast\u00e1sico es pensar que ciertos factores microambientales puedan ser determinantes, ya que incrementan el potencial metast\u00e1sico a costa de una alteraci\u00f3n del nivel transcripcional de ciertos genes.  este presente trabajo plante\u00f3 como objetivos:  determinar la actividad metast\u00e1sica en h\u00edgado del melanoma b16 activado por endotoxinas bacterianas.  caracterizar el mecanismo de adhesi\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas del melanoma b16 al endotelio sinusoidal hep\u00e1tico en presencia de endotoxinas bacterianas y tras permanencia en hipoxia prolongada:  caracterizar y cuantificar la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica de ciertas mol\u00e9culas de adhesion, citocinas y factores angiog\u00e9nicos, asociados a la v\u00eda transcripcional dependiente del factor nuclear kappa-b, inducible por los desequilibrios del estado redox intracelular.  los resultados obtenidos permiten concluir que:durante la fase intracapilar de la diseminaci\u00f3n metast\u00e1sica del melanona b16,la transcripci\u00f3n del gen de la integrina vla-4 conlleva un aumento de la adhesi\u00f3n endotelial que incrementa su potencial metast\u00e1sico.
