<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La apoptosis de las c\u00e9lulas de gl\u00e1ndula mamaria de hembras de mam\u00edfero que tiene lugar tras el destete constituye un conocido modelo de dicho proceso.  en la presente tesis hemos realizado un estudio de la evoluci\u00f3n del proceso apopt\u00f3tico a lo largo de las primeras 48 horas despu\u00e9s del destete en las c\u00e9lulas alveolares de la gl\u00e1ndula mamaria de rata, estableciendo la cronolog\u00eda de las fases de la apoptosis y los cambios producidos durante dichas fases en una serie de par\u00e1metros bioqu\u00edmicos relacionados con el estr\u00e9s oxidativo (potencial de membrana mitocondrial, niveles de glutati\u00f3n, actividades de enzimas antioxidantes\/prooxidantes, producci\u00f3n de per\u00f3xido mitocondrial, etc) y que pueden estar relacionados con el mismo, como es el caso de las modificaciones en la composici\u00f3n lip\u00eddica mitocondrial.  la conclusi\u00f3n extra\u00edda indica que el estr\u00e9s oxidativo es un factor inductor de la apoptosis, pues se presenta en la fase de inducci\u00f3n de la misma (primeras 6 horas tras el destete) y, a la vez, es consecuencia de la misma ya que dicha
