Tras un breve estudio hist\u00f3rico y curricular de la noci\u00f3n en el curriculo propuesto por la logse, se dise\u00f1a una secuencia didactica y una serie de materiales, que se basan en una definici\u00f3n no formal de l\u00edmite como aproximaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima, y que parte de ciertos supuesto te\u00f3ricos sobre la adquisici\u00f3n del conocimiento. La secuencia, que se lleva a la practica durante tres cursos academicos consecutivos utilizando una metodolog\u00eda de investigaci\u00f3n-acci\u00f3n, se describe a partir de las grabaciones en audio de las sesiones, las entrevistas realizadas, y las producciones escritas de los alumnos, y se analiza utilizando un sistema de categorias dise\u00f1ado en la investigaci\u00f3n para tal fin. La investigaci\u00f3n concluye con una propuesta curricular para la ense\u00f1anza del limite en secundaria, y aporta una serie de materiales que pueden servir de base para el dise\u00f1o de unidades
