Los aditivos se separan por cromatografia de gases (cg) y posteriormente se detectan y cuantifican por espectrometria de masas-impacto electronico (em-ie) en modo de seleccion de iones el metodo desarrollado muestra una elevada sensibilidad (detecta concentraciones de hasta 0.5 ng\/ml), alta reproducibilidad y una elevada selectividad. La misma tecnica se ha aplicado a muestras de pienso en segundo lugar se han puesto a punto tecnicas para la deteccion de sulfonamidas y nitrofuranos en tejido hepatico y muscular de pollo. Las muestras se separan por cromatografia liquida de alta resolucion en fase reversa y a continuacion, la presencia de estos compuestos se detecta por ultra violeta (uv-hilera de diodos). La tecnica permite detectar conjuntamente cinco sulfonamidas (sulfanilamida, sulfadiazina, sulfametazina, sulfamerazina y sulfametoxipiridazina) y dos nitrofuranos (nitrofurazona y furazolidona). El limite de deteccion conseguido es de 10 ng\/g. La misma tecnica se ha aplicado a muestras de pienso. Este metodo, en combinacion en pienso y orina, puede emplearse facilmente para la determinacion del uso ilegal de estos productos en pollos la validez de las tecnicas preparadas se ha comprobado
