Augusto Landa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La tesis doctoral se divide en dos partes, la primera parte consta de 5 cap\u00edtulos te\u00f3ricos. Los tres pirmeros cap\u00edtulos versan sobre el desarrollo cognitivo en los ni\u00f1os sordos.  los cap\u00edtulos 4 y 5 tratan la tem\u00e1tica de los porceos lectores en la poblaci\u00f3n sorda.Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo principal el estudio descriptivo de los problemas lectores que presenta la poblaci\u00f3n de ni\u00f1os sordos profundos. a la hora de realizar este trabajo se parti\u00f3 de una serie de hip\u00f3tesis generales. Esper\u00e1bamos que la muestra de sujetos sordos obtuviese unas puntuaciones inferiores a los sujetos oyentes en la totalidad de las pruebas. para la realizaci\u00f3n de este estudio se seleccion\u00f3 una muestra de 119 sujetos, 60 sujetos sordos profundos prelocutivos escolarizados a lo largo de la educaci\u00f3n primaria (1\u00c2\u00ba y 8\u00c2\u00ba de egb), y 59 sujetos oyentes escolarizados de 1\u00c2\u00ba a 6\u00c2\u00ba de egb.  se utilizaron las siguientes pruebas: prueba de evaluaci\u00f3n del retraso lector (perel); tres pruebas metafonol\u00f3gicas (rima, s\u00edlaba y fonema), una prueba de vocabulario (snodgrass), una prueba de comprensi\u00f3n lectora (cloze), un test de inteligencia (raven),y una prueba para evaluar el acceso al l\u00e9xico escrito (mip).  cada una de las pruebas anteriormente descritas fueron pasadas por logopedas y educadores a los ni\u00f1os sordos de forma individualizada en sus respectivos centros de estudios. De esta manera se realizaron 4 estudios diferentes. el primer estudio hace una comparaci\u00f3n de los niveles lectores de los ni\u00f1os sordos profundos espa\u00f1oles escolarizados a lo largo de toda la educaci\u00f3n primaria, con sujetos oyentes. El segundo estudio investiga las realizaciones de los ni\u00f1os sordos y oyentes sobre tres tareas metafonol\u00f3gicas (rima,conciencia sil\u00e1bica y conciencia fon\u00e9mica).  el tercer estudio compara el nivel de vocabulario y comprensi\u00f3n lectora  de los sujetos sordos.
