La mayor\u00eda de los sistemas obtenidos se comportan como intercalantes de adn como ha puesto de manifiesto t\u00e9cnicas de electroforesis en gel y espectrofotometr\u00eda uv\/vis.  2,- se ha llevado a cabo por primera vez con \u00e9xito la condensaci\u00f3n de westphal en su versi\u00f3n intramolecular y se ha estudiado la utilidad de la misma y sus limitaciones. Esta metodolog\u00eda ha permitido preparar una nueva serie de sales de benzoquinolino y piridoftalazinio, de dif\u00edcil acceso por otras v\u00edas.  3,- se detallan todos los intentos llevados a cabo para poner a punto una nueva metodolog\u00eda de s\u00edntesis de sistemas cationicos con nitr\u00f3geno cuaternario en posici\u00f3n cabeza de puente mediante un proceso tandem de ciclocondensaci\u00f3n cicloadici\u00f3n. Aunque los intentos para preparar el sustrato de diels-alder no han dado resultados satisfactorios, se recogen en la memoria las aproximaciones ensayadas  para acceder a este tipo de compuestos.  4,- se ha llevado a cabo la evaluaci\u00f3n de la interacci\u00f3n con el adn de los nuevos productos sintetizados utilizando t\u00e9cnicas de elctroforesis en gel y espectrofotometr\u00eda uv\/vis. Se ha establecido cuales de los productos obtenidos interaccionan con el adn de forma intercalativa y se han determiando los valores de k, constante de asociaci\u00f3n, y n, pares de bases por mol\u00e9culas de ligando unido.  5,- se ha realizado un estudio de la actividad antiproliferativa in vitro de los compuestos sintetizados, frente a la l\u00ednea tumoral l1210. aunque el estudio de
