Se ha investigado la naturaleza de las dos fases v\u00edtreas que puede formar este material: el vidrio amorfo(completamente desordenado) y el vidrio orientacional(desordenado orientacionalmente, pero ordenado traslacionalmente),as\u00ed como las caracter\u00edsticas de las transiciones v\u00edtreas que presentan ambos. Este sistema constituye una sustancia ideal para estudiar la influencia del desorden posicional y orientacional en la dinamica v\u00edtrea. Los resultados experimentales obtenidos han puesto de manifiesto la gran semejanza que existe entre el comportamiento de uno y otro vidrio, mientras que el uso de la simulaci\u00f3n por ordenador ha permitido determinar el origen microsc\u00f3pico de ese comportamiento, demostrando el importante papel jugado por los enlaces de hidr\u00f3geno en la estructura y din\u00e1mica de las distintas fases
