En el cap. 2 se demuestra la existencia (local) y unicidad de solucion asi como la existencia global. En el cap. 3 se estudia el comportamiento asintotico de las soluciones utilizando para ello resultados de la teoria de semigrupos disipativos. Ademas, se demuestra un resultado de convergencia hacia soluciones de equilibrio que se aplica a varios ejemplos. La segunda parte del trabajo (cap. 4 al 7) contiene resultados analogos a los anteriores pero para poblaciones con estructura jerarquica. En particular, para la existencia de solucion se aplican resultados de la teoria de las ecuaciones cuasilineales<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
