Primera, en lugar de discutir si la perspectiva d elas pol\u00edticas basadas en el \u00abdejar hacer\u00bb se aproxima mejor a los problemas m\u00e1s recientes en econom\u00eda laboral y crecimiento, afectamos las caracter\u00edsticas actuales de la mayor\u00eda de econom\u00edas occidentales europeas en el sentido en que sos mercados laborales est\u00e1n fuertemente regulados (al menos en comparaci\u00f3n a los estados unidos).  segunda, prestamos atenci\u00f3n a una amplia variedad de t\u00f3picos. Por una parte, los cap\u00edtulos 2 y 5 tratan de aspectos institucionales del mercado de trabajo como los costes de comtrataci\u00f3n y de despido y los programas de empleo respectivamente.
