El estudio se enmarca dentro de la corriente metodologica \u00abinvestigacion en accion\u00bb. El estudio consistio en a) el dise\u00f1o de una unidad didactica y su puesta en practica, consistente en tareas viales por parejas  que fueron sistematicamente grabadas para despues ser evaluadas mediante la estrategia del portafolio y b) el estudio posterior a partir de los datos obtenidos durante el proceso de puesta en practica.  los objetivos de la investigacion fueron: 1)estudiar la validez del portafolio vial y 2) formulan una propuesta concreta de aplicaci\u00f3n al aula de lal engua vial. Resultados: el portafolio vial es un instrumento poderoso para despertar la conciencia del hablante. El trabajo por tareas es adecuado para principiantes adolescentes.
