En concreto, se ha realizado un estudio cinetico del proceso y se ha estudiado la influencia de diversos parametros, como son la temperatura y el ph de la disolucion. El mismo estudio se ha realizado para otros tres compuestos implicados en posibles impactos ambientales del pesticida, el fenol, el acido fenoxiacetico y el 2,4-diclorofenol. Por otra parte, se ha planteado un mecanismo de degradacion inicial del herbicida con tio2, encontrandose una etapa reductiva paralela a una etapa siempre mayoritaria oxidativa.  finalmente, tambien se ha utilizado un reactor de flujo continuo para una posible aplicacion industrial del metodo, mediante el cual se demuestra la gran actividad y estabilidad del tio2 como
