Son precisamente estos enlaces los que proporcionan una cierta rigidez a la molecula y determinan su estructura, en la que se distinguen dos subunidades denominadas clusters alfa y beta de la metalotioneina (mt).  este trabajo que supone una contribuci\u00f3n al conocimiento de las mt constituye el primer estudio sistematico acerca de la complejacion de mt de diversas procedencias que poseen zinc como cati\u00f3n mayoritario mediante tecnicas electroqu\u00edmicas y electroforesis capilar de zona. As\u00ed mismo se estudian separadamente, por primera vez, las propiedades de complejaci\u00f3n de los dominios alfa y beta de la mt, obtenidos mediante s\u00edntesis pepticica, empleando polarograf\u00eda diferencial de pulsos y espectrometr\u00eda de masas, dos t\u00e9cnicas con las que se obtienen resultados complementarios entre s\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
