Singularmente en aquellas obras que tratan del tema del car\u00e1cter sagrado de la monarqu\u00eda espa\u00f1ola y cuyo protagonista es san hermenegildo. Analizando conjuntamente pinturas y piezas teatrales se comprueba como ambas comparten unas mismas relaciones espaciales, a la vez que se influyen mutuamente. Pintura y teatro se nutren de contenidos ideol\u00f3gicos comunes, a la vez que sirven de medios propagand\u00edsticos de la monarqu\u00eda, de la iglesia y, tambi\u00e9n, de otros intereses.
