Se presta especial inter\u00e9s a la aplicaci\u00f3n de la reacci\u00f3n de met\u00e1tesis en dos direcciones simult\u00e1neamente sobre compuestos con diferentes grupos funcionales para estudiar la estabilidad y reactividad del catalizador de rutenio.  se obtienen estructuras tri-,tetra- y penta-oxac\u00edclicas combinando anillos de seis y siete por s\u00edntesis de oxepanos tanto en una como en dos direcciones simult\u00e1neamente. En esta metodolog\u00eda se hace uso del tandem de reacciones de cilcaci\u00f3n por rcm y por ciclaci\u00f3n por acoplamiento intramolecular de alil-sn sobre aldeh\u00eddo.  se dise\u00f1an y se sintetizan las subunidades oxac\u00edclicas de 8-lactonas y de oxano con configuraci\u00f3n trans-anti, inspiradas en las estructuras terminales de los poli\u00e9teres naturales con el objetivo de imitar la bioactividad de los mismos.  por \u00faltimo, se propone una estrategia de s\u00edntesis convergente por acoplamiento de las subunidades sintetizadas en los idferentes cap\u00edtulos para
