En este estudio se ha empleado modificadores quimicos de grupos sulfhidrilo, estudiandose su efecto sobre el transporte de iones y la union de gdp a la ucp. Asi mismo, se han desarrollado los protocolos necesarios para la expresion e incorporacion de ucp a mitocondrias de s. Cerevisiae.
