Sobre dos de estos colorantes, se aplic\u00f3 un dise\u00f1o de experimentos factorial fraccionado 2 7-3 para establecer las condiciones \u00f3ptimas de trabajo. Tambi\u00e9n se estableci\u00f3 una metdolog\u00eda que permite verificar, de forma r\u00e1pida, si la decoloraci\u00f3n electroqu\u00edmica es aplicable a un nuevo colorante.  en todos los colorantes estudiados, es posible encontrar unas condiciones de trabajo que lleven a la decoloraci\u00f3n requerida. En general, cuando se emplea nacl como electrolito se suele conseguir al decoloraci\u00f3n a diferncias de potencial bajas y caudales elevados, dano lugar a consumos muy bajos.  para comprobar la posibilidad de implantar industrialmente el m\u00e9todo, se determinaron los compuestos vol\u00e1tiles generados durante le tratamiento por cromatograf\u00eda de gases-espectrometr\u00eda de masas con inyecci\u00f3n de espacio en cabeza. Tambi\u00e9n se determin\u00f3 la biodegradabilidad de las aguas tratadas, la toxicidad y la inhibici\u00f3n bacteriana.  en presencia de cloruro s\u00f3dico como electrolito, se forman ciertas cantidades de hidrocarburos halogenados, especialmente cloroformo, los cuales se eliminan totalmente del agura residual despu\u00e9s de una depuraci\u00f3n biol\u00f3gica.  en lo que respecta a la biodegradabilidad, en general, las aguas residuales que contienen colorantes reactivos mantienen o aumentan su biodegradabilidad despu\u00e9s de un tratamiento electroqu\u00edmico de
