El modelo explica la generalidad del fen\u00f3meno de las bifurcaciones a reg\u00edmenes de confinamiento mejorado como las observadas en numerosos dispositivos de ese tipo. El fen\u00f3meno asemeja una transici\u00f3n de fase termodin\u00e1mica. el modelo reproduce las facetas m\u00e1s generales del proceso y predice soluciones del tipo ciclo l\u00edmite compatibles con las observaciones experimentales. sus ingredientes b\u00e1sicos son la definici\u00f3n de un campo escalar relacionado con la envolvente del nivel de fluctuaciones (e.G.De la densidad), que evoluciona en base a sus mecasnismos de crecimiento, saturaci\u00f3n y supresi\u00f3n. este campo es responsable del transporte an\u00f3malo. La evoluci\u00f3n del transporte an\u00f3malo cierra un lazo de retroalimentaci\u00f3n entre los perfiles termodin\u00e1micos del plasma capaz de dar lugar a la formaci\u00f3n de barreras de transporte. la generalidad del modelo permite su implementaci\u00f3n en diversos c\u00f3digos de transporte. Los detalles de los resultados son dependientes del modelo de transporte escogido para analizar los datos.
