La encefalomielitis al\u00e9rgica experimental (eae) es una enfermedad autoinmune mediada por c\u00e9lulas t que constituye el mejor modelo experimental de la enfermedad humana esclerosis m\u00faltiple. La eae se induce en animales susceptibles gen\u00e9ticamente mediante la inoculaci\u00f3n con tejido nervioso completo, o determinados ant\u00edgenos como la prote\u00edna b\u00e1sica de mielina.  materiales y m\u00e9todos. Eae aguda monof\u00e1sica en ratas lewis. Tratamiento de la eae con rolipram (5 mg\/kg de peso corporal s.C. Desde el d\u00eda ipi a el d\u00eda 17 pi) \u00f3 con aminoguanidina (400mg\/kg de peso corporal i.P. Desde el d\u00eda 1 pi al 17 pi). Estudios patol\u00f3gicos en snc con tinci\u00f3n de hematoxilina-eosina. an\u00e1lisis semicuantitativo de expresi\u00f3n de arnm de genes supuestamente implicados en la enfermedad. Experimentos de proliferaci\u00f3n. Determinaci\u00f3n de no en plasma. An\u00e1lisis por citometr\u00eda de flujo intracelular. Tinci\u00f3n con anexina-v.  resultados. La expresi\u00f3n cl\u00ednica de la eae aguda monof\u00e1sica de ratas lewis se acompa\u00f1a de un aumento en el snc de la s\u00edntesis de arnm de las citocinas proinflamatorias il-1, il-2, ifn-y, tnf, lt, del enzima inos y de la gelatinasa b. En la periferia, la enfermedad provoca un aumento de la s\u00edntesis de arnm de ifn-y, il-10 e inos as\u00ed como de no en plasma.  -el tratamiento de la eae con un inhibidor de fosfodiesteras iv (rolipram), aminora y retrasa los signos cl\u00ednicos de la enfermedad, reduci\u00e9ndose el n\u00famero de c\u00e9lulas inflamatorias presentes en el snc de los animales tratados. este tratamiento no altera el perfil de expresi\u00f3n de arnm de citocinas proinflamatorias y reguladoras de las c\u00e9lulas inflamatorias que acceden al snc. Tampoco se ve afectada la expresi\u00f3n de arnm de mol\u00e9culas de adhesi\u00f3n icam-1 y vcam-1.
