La 1 cuya etapa clave es un acoplamiento biarilico de naftalenos con ariloxazolinas y que permitio preparar el 2-(2-(4,5-dihidro-4,4-dimetil-2-oxazolil)-6-metoxifenil)-1 ,4,8-trimeto- xinaftaleno. Una 2 aproximacion a traves de una benzanelacion de dotz fue insatisfactoria. Se estudio la adicion de compuestos organometalicos a vinilfeniloxazolinas: aquellas que poseen un grupo ome en orto al vinilo son las mas reactivas y dan lugar a la adicion nucleofila 1,6-conjugada con meli, n-buli, t-buli y phli. La reaccion con phli es util para la sintesis de dihidro estilbenos. Las vinilfeniloxazolinas sin grupo ome en el anillo aromatico solo reaccionan con los compuestos alquilliticos. Aquellas con un sustituyente ome en la posicion 6 no reaccionan con ninguno de dichos organoliticos. Se llevo tambien a cabo la sintesis de la 5-desoxi-d-lixonolactona a partir del aminoacido l-treonina. La metodolog\u00eda empleada abre una via para abordar la sintesis de los azucares elsarosa y elsaminosa, que forman parte de las elsamicinas a y b.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
