En el primer modelo se aplica un modelo autorrgresivo resuelto mediante el modelo del filtro, que es muy com\u00fan en el dominio del tiempo.  en su adaptaci\u00f3n al dominio de la frecuencia se resuleven tres obst\u00e1culos: que se verifiquen las hip\u00f3tesis requeridas pro el filtro lineal a cosnturir, la existencia de criterios para la selecci\u00f3n del orden del modelo y la interpretaci\u00f3n de sus par\u00e1metros. Para las dos primeras han de generalizarse las exigencias deducidas de la aproximaci\u00f3nlineal en los espacios de hilbert.  para la selecci\u00f3n del orden del modelo se describen dos v\u00edas; la que compara la secuencia de auto productos con la propia dft y la que estudia la convergencia de la ganancia del filtro lineal a un valor constante no nulo. Para la interpretaci\u00f3n del modelo se usa la aplicaci\u00f3n del algoritmo cl\u00e1sico de levinson en estudios sismol\u00f3gicos, concluyendo la posibilidad de acelerar el mismo. El segundo modelo racional utiliza la estrategia de laurent-pad\u00e9 sobre la dft para obtener una aproximaci\u00f3n en el dominio del tiempo de la serie per\u00f3dica.  sobre series de consumo de agua de la ciudad de sta. Cruz de aplican y comparan los modelos racionales y una trunca de fourier con ingual n\u00famerjo de coeficientes.
