Con esta tesis se avanza en este contexto a trav\u00e9s de las siguientes aportaciones:  -incorporaci\u00f3n de robusted frente a ruido en la funci\u00f3n de energia. Uno de los problemas de esta funci\u00f3n es que es muy sensible al ruido. Para evitarlo, se ha aportado robusted en el proceso de segmentaci\u00f3n de imagen introduciendo nuevas caracter\u00edsticas: media y varianza recortada y comprob\u00e1ndo su validez tanto a nivel de calidad del resultado de la segmentaci\u00f3n, como en la mejora de la convergencia al \u00f3ptimo, estabilizando la funci\u00f3n de energia en un n\u00famero menosde iteraciones.  -se han introducido caracter\u00edsticas a partir de la informaci\u00f3n de color de la imagen, que permiten discriminar mejor vegiones de la imagen que tienen igual intensidad pero diferente nomatividad, meprandos asi en estos caos los resultados con respecto al uso de tonos de gris.  -se ha adaptado la funcion de energia a fin de incorporar los mecanismos que se acaban de citar y se han modificado el algoritmo mpmt para tratar el calor usando el modelo hls.  -se han aportado directrices para sintonizar los par\u00e1metros relevantes a efectos de tiempo de c\u00f3mputo y calidad de resultado. En este aspecto el objetivo ha sido determinar en que escala de resoluci\u00f3n de la imagen se conjuga el compromiso entre el nivel de informaci\u00f3n y el tiempo de
