Numerosos estudios han pretendidocomprender c\u00f3mos e activa este mecanismo prometast\u00e1sico durante la diseminaci\u00f3n tumoral en ausencia d euna inflamci\u00f3n experimetnal prvia. Algunos trabajos han demostrado que las c\u00e9lulas en cultilvo de algunos tumores metast\u00e1sicos, pueden producir constitutivamente las principales citocinas proinflamatorias que actiar\u00edan directamente la adhesividad del endotelio capilar para c\u00e9lulas metast\u00e1sicas. Sin embargo, tambi\u00e9n se ha constatado que le potencial metast\u00e1sico persiste en tumores sin expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica de dichas citocinas.Sobre esta base, el presente trabajo pretendi\u00f3 investigar el mecanismo proinflamatorio que regula el proceso de adhesi\u00f3n capilar de un melanoma murino con elevado poder metast\u00e1sico -elmelamnoma b16- , y su valor como pasado regulador del proceso de met\u00e1stasis, analizando en detalle la respueta endotelial inducida por el propio tumor,y buscando los factores turmorales responsables y su regulaci\u00f3n.  los resultados obtenidos demuestran que la infiltraci\u00f3n hep\u00e1tica del melanoma b16 indujo la expresi\u00f3n endotelial de vcam-1 facilitando la formaci\u00f3n de met\u00e1stasis tras la adhesi\u00f3n a la pared snusoidal de sus c\u00e9lulas con expresi\u00f3nd e la integrina vla-4. In vitro, dicho tumor produjo factores solubles que indujeronunproceso de activaci\u00f3n endotelial en cascada, donde la producic\u00f3nd e tnf-a indujo al del il-1b, la cual increment\u00f3 la adhesividad endotelial dependiente de vacam-1 por mediaci\u00f3n de il-18.El potencial estimulante endotelial del melonoma b16 estuvo regulado por un mecanismo de expresi\u00f3ng \u00e9nica
