El c\u00f3digo presenta novedades en cuanto a la escala espacila (microescala), el n\u00famero de dimensiones de la malla (bidimensional), los m\u00e9todos de interpolaci\u00f3n incorporados (inverso del cuadrado de la distancia y spline de m\u00ednima curvatura), y el algoritmo que genera un campo final de viento que satisface la ley de conservaci\u00f3n de la masa (no modifica el valor de los datos iniciales).  el modelo se ha denominado wimo. Se han creado dos versiones de wimo, una visual (en visula basic) y otra secuencial (fotran 90). En conjunto, estas dos versiones ofrecen una soluci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida, sencilla, potente, vers\u00e1til, sin grandes requisitos computacionales, y adaptada a las caracter\u00edsticas y necesidades del an\u00e1lisis de recursos e\u00f3licos.  wimo ha sido evaluado en varias campa\u00f1as de medida y ejemplos acad\u00e9micos con resultados satisfactorios. Tambi\u00e9n se ha comparado con el modelo mathew, obteniendo resultados m\u00e1s precisos en un tiempo menor. En funci\u00f3n de factores topogr\u00e1ficos y meteorol\u00f3gicos, el modelo desarrollado tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda ser utilizado en aeropuertos, incendios forestales y contaminaci\u00f3n
